Juno — voice-first matchmaking
Effective date: 27 June 2026 | Last updated: 27 June 2026
1. Our commitment
Juno is built to help adults meet people in a calm, respectful way. For that to work, everyone has to feel safe. These Guidelines explain what we expect from you, what is not allowed, and how we keep the community safe — including how to report problems and how we respond. They form part of our Terms of Service, and breaking them can lead to content removal, suspension, or permanent removal from Juno.
2. Who can use Juno
- You must be 18 or over. Juno is for adults only, and we act on any account we believe belongs to a minor.
- Be yourself. One real account per person, accurate information, and photos that are actually of you.
3. What is not allowed
You must not post, send, or share content, or behave in any way, that is:
3.1 Harmful to other people
- Harassment, bullying, threats, or stalking of any kind.
- Hate speech or content that attacks or demeans people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other protected characteristic.
- Sexual harassment, unsolicited sexual content, or sexually explicit images.
- Content that promotes or depicts violence, self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders.
3.2 Illegal or exploitative
- Any sexual content involving minors, or any content that sexualises a minor. We have zero tolerance, report to the relevant authorities, and permanently remove the user (see section 7).
- Non-consensual intimate images ("revenge porn"), or threatening to share them.
- Sexual services, trafficking, the sale of drugs or weapons, or any other illegal activity.
3.3 Deceptive or commercial
- Impersonation, catfishing, fake profiles, or misrepresenting who you are.
- Scams, fraud, phishing, or requests for money, gifts, or financial information.
- Spam, advertising, solicitation, or recruitment of any kind.
3.4 Privacy and security
- Sharing someone else's private or identifying information without their consent.
- Attempting to hack, scrape, or interfere with Juno or its users.
4. How we filter and moderate content (Apple 1.2)
We use a combination of automated detection and human review to find and act on content that breaks these Guidelines. Profiles, photos, and messages may be screened, and we maintain filters designed to catch prohibited content before or shortly after it appears. We may remove content, limit features, or remove an account where these Guidelines are broken. We may not catch everything, which is why reporting matters — see section 5.
5. Reporting and our response commitment (Apple 1.2)
Every profile and conversation includes a Report option. You can also email our safety team at [email protected]. Tell us what happened and, if you can, include the username and any detail that helps us act.
When you report objectionable content or behaviour:
- We aim to review and act within 24 hours, and faster for serious safety reports.
- Acting may mean removing content, warning, suspending, or permanently removing the user, and where appropriate ejecting the user who provided the offending content.
- We will not retaliate against good-faith reports, and you can block the user immediately while we review (see section 6).
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first (in the UK, call 999).
6. Blocking and controlling your experience (Apple 1.2)
- You can block any user at any time. A blocked user can no longer contact you or see your profile.
- You can unmatch to end a conversation and remove a connection.
- You control what you share and can edit or remove profile details and photos whenever you like.
7. Child safety
Juno has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. We take steps to keep under-18s off the platform, we act on any account we believe belongs to a minor, and we report child sexual abuse material to the relevant authorities, including, where applicable, the National Crime Agency / CEOP in the UK and NCMEC. If you encounter anything of this kind, report it immediately through the app or to [email protected].
8. Meeting people safely
Juno helps you meet people, but your safety offline is in your hands. We recommend:
- Get to know someone in the app before meeting, and trust your instincts.
- Meet in a public place the first few times, and make your own way there and back.
- Tell a friend or family member where you are going and who you are meeting.
- Never send money or share financial information with someone you have met on Juno.
- Look out for warning signs: refusing to video chat, rushing intimacy, or asking for money.
9. Enforcement
Depending on the severity and history of a breach, we may:
- remove the offending content;
- issue a warning;
- limit or suspend access to features or the account; or
- permanently remove the user from Juno.
Serious breaches — such as anything involving minors, non-consensual intimate images, threats, or fraud — normally result in immediate permanent removal and, where appropriate, a report to the authorities. Decisions are made at our reasonable discretion in line with these Guidelines and our Terms.
