Delete your Juno account

You can permanently delete your Juno account and its data at any time. There are two ways to do it: the in-app route is instant; the email route is for anyone who no longer has the app installed.
Option 1: In the app (instant)
- Open Juno and go to Settings.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
Deletion is immediate: your profile, photos, introductions, messages, conversations with Juno held on our server, traits and preferences, and keys balance are permanently removed.
Option 2: By email (no app needed)
Email us from the address on your account, or include the phone number you registered with so we can verify it's you:
Or write to support@hello-juno.com with the subject "Delete my Juno account". We verify the request against the account's registered contact details and complete deletion within 30 days (usually much sooner). We'll confirm by reply once it's done.
What is deleted, and what we keep
- Deleted: your profile and photos, your introductions and chat messages, your conversations with Juno held on our server, declared and inferred traits and preferences, calibration choices, your keys balance, the purchase records in our database, and reports made by or about you. The copy of your conversations with Juno on your phone goes when you remove the app.
- Kept where the law requires or allows: a record of your consent choices, as evidence we asked you properly; your age check record, if you took the check, for six years, with a scrambled form of your phone number and email so it can be found if a question is raised; if your account was closed for safety, a scrambled version of your phone number may be kept while that restriction stands; a pseudonymised note that a serious safety concern was raised, holding which kind of concern it was and never any words; for two weeks after an introduction ends, your first name may stay on the other person’s record, for safety only; if you signed up on our website before joining, your sign-up details (name, email, phone and postcode), until you ask us to delete them or 12 months after launch, whichever comes first; and anonymised product feedback that no longer identifies you. - Purchases were billed by Apple or Google. Apple, Google and our payments provider RevenueCat keep their own purchase records, and deleting your account does not delete them.
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you return to Juno later you'll start completely fresh.
